Hi I’m Asma, currently in Clinical Radiology Specialty Training (ST3) in the North West Deanery! I was pleased to secure a national training number on my first attempt, scoring 100% in the portfolio and 94% at interview.

 

I studied medicine at the University of Liverpool, where I also completed an intercalated MPhil focused on a radiology-themed project that informed MHRA legislative change—an experience that cemented my interest in imaging, patient safety and evidence-based innovation. After graduating, I completed an Academic Foundation Programme, building a strong track record in research, quality improvement, and medical education.

 

I remain actively involved in teaching  through medical education initiatives and enjoy mentoring students and junior doctors—particularly those exploring a career in radiology. I’ve presented work at national and international meetings, collaborated across specialties, and I’m excited to keep contributing to projects that improve diagnostics and service delivery.
